Dior perfumes
Dior’s fragrances run from Sauvage, one of the best-selling men’s scents of the past decade, to J’adore, the house’s flagship floral since 1999, and Miss Dior, a rose perfume the house has reworked several times. François Demachy was Dior’s in-house perfumer from 2006 to 2021, when Francis Kurkdjian took over.
Dior perfumes we cover
-
Sauvage Eau de Toilette

- Fresh / spicy
- Bergamot
- Pepper
- Ambroxan
Sharp pepper and bergamot over a dry, mineral base. Loud for an EDT, so one or two sprays is plenty.

-
Sauvage Eau de Parfum

- Aromatic / amber
- Bergamot
- Lavender
- Vanilla
The Sauvage opening with lavender and a trace of vanilla underneath: smoother, warmer and a little sweeter than the EDT.
Perfumer: François Demachy
-
J’adore Eau de Parfum

- Floral
- Ylang-ylang
- Damask rose
- Jasmine
A big, sunny bouquet of rose and white flowers. Rounded and polished rather than sharp.
Perfumer: Calice Becker
-
Miss Dior Eau de Parfum

- Floral / chypre
- Rose
- Vanilla
- Sandalwood
Honeyed Grasse rose over creamy vanilla, tonka and milky sandalwood, with a little patchouli underneath. Dior’s 2026 version: a soft, sweet, romantic rose.
Perfumer: Francis Kurkdjian
