What Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 smells like
Editorial inference
It opens bright and juicy, with crisp apple, lemon and a little freesia. Then the marshmallow arrives, soft and powdery-sweet, with strawberry and toasted coconut, like a strawberry milkshake with marshmallows on top. The base is whipped vanilla and a clean pink musk, so it stays fluffy and light rather than heavy or syrupy.

You might skip it if
You find fruity-sweet scents childish or cloying, or want something understated for work.
Kayali’s pink marshmallow
Editorial inference
Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 launched in late 2024 as the follow-up to Yum Pistachio Gelato 33, in the same diamond-shaped Kayali bottle, this time in pink. Where Pistachio Gelato is nutty and creamy, Boujee Marshmallow is fruity: strawberry, apple and coconut wrapped in a soft marshmallow note.
As with every Kayali scent, the number is the brand’s count of how many formulas it took. It quickly joined Vanilla 28 and Pistachio Gelato among the brand’s most searched perfumes.
How to wear and layer it
Editorial inference
It’s sweet but airy, so it’s easier to wear in warmer weather than most gourmands. Three or four sprays is enough; it leaves a trail.
To layer, try it over Vanilla 28 for a warmer, creamier marshmallow, or over Pistachio Gelato for a full ice-cream-parlor effect. A fresh citrus on top makes it a little more grown-up for daytime.
